Initially, Straight From School is a site that celebrates successful young actresses who obtained their break through roles into the acting industry by chance, whether it be an "open casting call" or a one-in-a-million chance of being spotted for their talent.

We are not just a multi-fansite for a select number of these actresses, but a listing for all their fansites on the web, and even a source of information and guide on the acting industry itself.

Our aim is to focus on the idea that not only child-actresses with a family of film producers can squeeze into the limelight, but normal, everyday girls like you or me can too! That is why we find these Straight From School Girls so inspiring.
