Do you remember that review I wrote on the creative website Ideas Tap? Well they’ve recently published a great article to coincide with the NYT audition results released today. Thousands of young people audition to be part of the company every year, and there simply isn’t enough space for everyone.
As National Youth Theatre announces its audition results, many of you will be experiencing that cold, unpleasant taste of rejection. It’s a horrible feeling. But while NYT may be one of Britain’s most prestigious companies, they certainly don’t get it right every time. Heck no.
If any of you have experienced this type of rejection before this is excellent advice to remember if you begin to feel downhearted. You’d be surprised how many british household names have had huge successes after being rejected from the NYT! Check it out here.
